Information about Arm Lift Surgery or Brachioplasty in Argentina

Arm lift or brachioplasty is a surgical procedure that removes loose skin and excess fat deposits in the upper arm that makes it look saggy. After this surgery you will feel quite comfortable, even when you wear sleeveless clothes.

The procedure

To perform this procedure, the surgeon has to make an incision from the armpit to the elbow, along the interior area of each arm, so that he can remove the loose skin and fat. After that, he has to insert drainage tubes, if necessary, and finally he will close the incisions with sutures.

Hospitalization: You will not need to be hospitalized; it is done on an outpatient basis.
Anesthesia: Local anesthesia and complementary sedation, or general anesthesia.
Length of arm lift surgery: 2 hours, approximately.

Returning to Normal Routine

After an arm lift surgery or brachioplasty, you will be able to return to work within 2 to 5 days.

What are the possible side-effects and complications?
