The incision is made in one of the next possible locations:

In order to reshape or reduce the bone, creating a harmonic appearance, the surgeon works in the area with appropriate electrical instruments, carefully chosen. The incision is sutured and stitched, and thenæ a tape is applied in the chin area.
Is possible experience considerable swelling or discoloration in the treated area, which diminish in several weeks. The stitches are typically removed seven days after the procedure.
It is recommendable to follow post-operative instruction list to help reduce the risk of complications. There may be some pain, which can be managed with oral medications. The surgeon may have recommendations to reduce swelling, such as elevating your head.
Normal activities can be resumed typically within seven days.
