A Thread Lift is a facial rejuvenation procedure and it is alternative to traditional facelift surgery. It may be known as a non-surgical facelift but in fact it is a surgery. The Thread Lift offers many of the benefits of a face lift but with less risk and recovery time and it leaves no scar.
The threads come in different sizes and textures to suit every need. They are all inert and biocompatible; among them we can mention the gold threads and the Aptos threads.
For the facial lift rejuvenation the threads are used to stretch and tighten the skin. It is used in the cheekbones, the tail of the eyebrows, forehead, chin, jowls, neck, and all the areas affected by sagging and wrinkles. The results are seen immediately and the patient can return home after placement. The final results begin to be felt after 20 days and will continue to improve as it becomes concentrated the formation of collagen around the threads. The Thread Lift surgery leaves no visible scar and lasts 2 to 3 years.
