Microdermabrasion is a gentle, progressive and painless exfoliation. Abrasives object are used such as limes, aluminum microcrystals and diamond tips to eliminate gradually the surface layers of the skin and thus remove dead cells. Different intensities are handled according to the therapeutic target.
After the treatment a moisturizing and healing lotion is placed on the treated areas to help your prompt healing.
A medical evaluation is needed to determine if microdermabrasion is an appropriate procedure for the patient.
Duration: 30 minutes per session.
Frequency: is set according to each patient and therapeutic target. Usually 4-6 sessions, which are held every 7 to 15 days. After the treatment, we recommend a session every 2 or 3 months to maintain results.
Microdermabrasion results are seen in a gradual way after each session. After treatment, aged skin will be replaced by new layers that allow cell regeneration and increase collagen production by providing greater elasticity, smoothness, and firmness to the new skin.
After Diamond Microdermabrasion the patient can return immediately to work. After two months will see the final and long lasting results.
No exposure to the sun for 21 days and use of sunscreen for 45-60 days.
Apply moisturizers and daily washing of the treated area.
